Networks all over the world should now be facing less spam and a smaller threat of attack.  The botnet known as Rustock has been taken down (and appears to be staying down) thanks to an investigation and series of raids orchestrated by Microsoft.

Network specialists who would prefer not to deal with or be viewed as the industry’s equivalent of used car salesmen (or at least that stereotype) might want to look at the way Juniper Networks does business.  Today, the Ethisphere Institute named Juniper Networks one of the “2011 World’s Most Ethical Companies.”
