Recently, I found a nice tool named NetView at OptimumX.com that will scan a network and display a list of all visible systems that are online in the specified domain.
This is handy for those individuals who may not have ready access to a sophisticated reporting system or who just want to quickly perform an inventory. I have found NetView to be pretty flexible in allowing me to narrow down the types of systems for which I am searching.
